The Red white Volvo Duett is such a classic Volvo icon. I received this model some time ago from the Atlas Collection. At the Upplandsrundan last week, a red white duett was there aswell. Great to see the similarities and differences between the original and the scale model.
The early models from 1949 where called PV445, the later models from 1960, P210. My Atlas model is early model, as can be seen at the front radiator and the split windowscreen.
The name Duett was intended to signify a car that could be used as a delivery vehicle during the week and as a comfortable sedan away from work. Two cars in one (TwoOne or in swedish DuEtt).
