Edition Atlas has released 90 models in the Volvo Collection!
Between februari 2012 and december 2018 I subscribed to the Volvo Collection by Editions Atlas. All models are in scale 1:43 and they give good value for money. Quality is not as good as the official models available at Volvo Car where models are made by Norev or Kyosho or the models from Minichamps, Motorart or Neo Scale models, but much better than Junior Driver / Cararama or APC. Some models seem to come from IXO Premium, the quality is about the same.

Interested in the models from Volvo Collection by Atlas Editions, but they are not available in your country? Read these tips:
1. Volvo Collection is today available in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands and Belgium. From august 2014 the collection is also available in Germany and France. See the information at Minivolvo.lu.
2. Try to buy them online in one of these countries, most of the sellers would like to send them abroad, as long as the price is right. Contact the seller directly if you are unsure. Have a look at ebay.com, ebay.fr, tradera.com or marktplaats.nl to name a few.
3. Contact Atlas Editions and request them to start the collection in your country. Fans in The Netherlands managed to get the collection started there, see the information at Minivolvo.lu.

Only the pv444, the blue white 120 Amazon and the 144 are for sale at the moment.
But check at the Swedish tradera.com site, most models are for sale there and many ship abroad.

All models mentioned above are in my collection today, but the models with ‘expected’ behind them, not, they will come in the near future.
The collection is expected to be 60 models.

I’m French and Atlas don’t sale in France for the moment.
I bought some models on a site auction (outside France).
I can’t buy with Tradera because I can’t connect (maybe because my adress mail is “.fr”) .

I collect Volvo, about 190 models 1/43 today (only tourism cars all different and no double).

Your Volvo collection from Atlas Editions looks very nice !!! Such a shame we can’t buy this collection in France… Do you have cars from other brands ? I love old models (until 2000’s, not actual) from Volvo, but also from BMW, Delorean and Saab…
As kikou840, I am searching everywhere for a while, to find some diecast Volvos (expecially Amazon, 70’s 244/245 with square headlights, 480, 780, 90’s 960/S90/V90) not as expensive as Neo Scale, but looking better than Schuco/Junior Line or Cararama ones. You say they look like Ixo products : that’s OK for me !
How much do they cost (in euros), in Sweden ? Could it be possible to order you some of them, then you would order them to Atlas Editions and get paid by Paypal ? Like kikou840, I’ma unable to connect Tradera, even if my mail address doesn’t finish by .fr… Anyway, I don’t understand any word of swedish…

I have subscribed to the Volvo collection as well here in Belgium. I’ve received about 33 models now but not a single one since November 2014. Customer service at Editions Atlas replied to my complaint by saying they have a stock issue. I was just wondering whether you still receive models now regularly or not. Thanks for letting me know.

I am suffering with the same problems with Atlas. Delivery problems is the answer that I get when contacting them. My latest received model was mid march of this year, but it was a model that I already received a year ago. Didn’t have to pay for it, but would like to see a new model coming my way.

If you will pay very much there are TP21 for sale in Sweden.

You can get the Volvo TP21 model through a subscription at the Volvo Collection from Edition Atlas.
Information about this you’ll find at http://www.atlaseditions.co.uk/
If the Volvo Collection is not available in your country, you could try an onine aution website, where these models are often availble.
In Sweden you could try http://www.tradera.com/ or http://www.ebay.com/, but similar site should be in all countries that offer the Volvo Collection.

Hello!
Taxicab PV 800:
The correct model types were PV 831 with inner wall and PV 832
without inner wall. The model year is 1950. 1951-1957 models had a modified grille. This is a good model from Atlas but the biggest mistake is the black luggage rack on the rear with two cycles holder. All these are missing on the Atlas Volvo cab.
Between 1974 and 1978 I was owned of a real 1951 Volvo PV 831. A restored copy in very good condition.

I have tried to fond out how many of each model Atlas manufactured?
It seems like some models are more expensive when I try to bid on Tradera. For example I saw the P1800 convertible with the price 1600 SEK. Is it possible that there only are 30 examples produced of that model?

Edition Atlas have never communicated how many items were produced of each model, but I have understood that it should be at least 1500. Since it was a seriefor which you subscribed, the early models have been produced in higher volumes. But you can wait and it is likely that other companies will reuse the P1800 Convertible mould to produce this model in other colors…
