Got up this morning at 6 o’clock because had to start working at 7:00. We did put the new homepage for the company online, together with some other top level pages. After weeks of thinking, planning, designing, building and testing, it was time to go live with it. Everything went very well. At 7:15 the change was completed. Within minutes the first messages came in, mostly positive, some people complaining about things missing, or the different colourscheme. Best thing about it, is that’s 3 times lighter / faster then the previous one. Also it looks younger, cleaner and fresher. So, after some stress the last few weeks, I’m happy we managed to put it online without any problems. I’m curious to all the comments we are getting the coming day’s.

Went sporting early round 4 o’clock, went very well and I was it bit over enthousiastic, so, now I have some pain in my arms… hmmm. Maybe I have to let them hanging for a while, not contact with weights, mouses or keyboards for some time.

At home I found again a letter from  UPC Nederland . The cable-giant in my area. Have been a customer with them from june 98 till april/july 2000. Still they are making my life a hell. Today I received a telephone-bill from april 2000. So I immediately called them, after waiting 10 minutes for an employer to come out of the sun and answer the phone, I spend 40 minutes on the phone with them, explaining why I will not pay this bill after 16 months. Why I want to be left alone, why I want them to stop bugging me any longer… Hope they now understand my point.
