This evening on my way home, I was at Central Station and had to wait for my bus taking me home. He had just left so the bus stop was almost empty. Having done some fitness before, I decided to take the opportuenty to sit an the small bench.
Few minutes later a ‘typical amsterdam women’ with her 7 year old son came. The women sat next to me, putting her son on the other end of the bench. Boy was a small, fat and spoiled kid. I could see that immediately. Boy complained, he wanted to sit in the middle of the bench.
I thought hmmm, not good. I want to sit quit and simply wait for my bus, Don’t want to have a fast moving, bumping in to my left little annoying kid pushing me (by accident) next to me. Kid was moving fast, mother gets a phonecall, complaining that she spend 5 quarters of an hour from the swimmingpool to the station. Advising her husband (I guess) to put the sausage in hot water, but don’t let it cook! They are going to eat sausage with bread… jak.
Kids starts shouting to his dad on the phone, while moving in an almost standing position. He was carefully not hitting or pushing me in any way. But I decided to try something out. While mother is still on the phone, I decided to stand up and stand next to the bench. Ha ha. The mother got the message and started to her son that he should sit still and not stand on the bench. Mother is angry at her boy… ha ha ha. I have to be carefull not to look their side but I can read the boy’s mind… “I didnt do anything”. Mother tells her that this gentlemen (me) had to stand up because he was bothering me… which he didn’t. Was really funny.
Few minutes later, a (fat) women sat in my place. Mother picked her kid up and orderd him to stand on the other side of the bench…
Not that nice of me, but I sure had fun!
