rain & sun
went this morning to the dentist before work. it’s near the Heineken’s brewery at the stadhouderskade so I decided to take my bike. weather has been so good for almost 10 day’s, all the time sunny, altough still cold. found out that my umbrella was still in my bag, didn’t use it for several weeks, so I threw it out. had a good dental clean-up, nothing feels better than the full dental set been polished like they are new again, have to get my self that kind of gear and mirrors….
then quickly to work to prepare a presentation about our new user interaction design for a group of lotus notes developers. after lunch, the presentation went very well. the normal resisitance for change was with some, but most of the audiance were quite happy with the new stuff. they even liked the new lay-out. something that will make things easier in the future.
after work, went home with the subway (or ‘metro’ as we call it here), the whole day has been gray, no sun available. at the weesperplein, I got out of the station and it was raining… that was not supposed to be! end of the story is: got home soaked from the rain. (in amsterdam there is hardly a discusion to leave your bike standing overnight at a station… I will have a new owner the next morning)… a awfull fuzzy light rain which make you soaked after twenty minutes… no running possible… maybe tomorrow fitness at the company.
