Some nice posters of the saturday started online sailing competition of the Volvo Ocean Race.

Last weekend was the Åland Monster Fish Tour 2011 27/10 – 30/10. And it has turned out to be a great weekend with a monster score of fish. Last year my score was 0, so, I was very happy to catch some this year: 4 Gädda (Northern pike or Snoek) and 5 Abborre (European perch or Baars). Only in my boat on saturday, we caught 51 fishes!!

We fished around the Bergö island on Åland. A lot of fish was caught near Gäddviken!

Looking forward to the weekend when we’ll be going out to Åland for some fishing. Will they bite this time?

Went out today to Bogesundslandet to find some höstkantareller.

Bogesundslandet

We found a lot of mushrooms, but were not really sure whether these are the ones that you can eat:

Höstkantareller or something else?

Kantareller?

What are these?

When we got home, we had a closer look and the one we took, and concluded that all we brought home, were different mushrooms then we thought. We dont want to risk this: ”Det blev en dyr läxa” – Mikael, 42, var nära att dö – av giftsvamp.

En bra tumregel är: Inga vita svampar med vita skivor och inga bruna svampar med bruna skivor. Nedan hittar du svamparna du absolut inte ska få i dig.

Wonderfull day for a walk on Bogesundslandet. We did walk the Frösvikrundan (see map)
