After our first day at work, after the summer vacation, we decided to enjoy the journey home from Stockholm to Vaxholm. So, we had a little afterwork party at the Väddö boat from Strömkajen (Stockholm) to Ytterby brygga in Vaxholm.

This summer we revisited Funäsdalen again with our friends, Chris and Sam from The Netherlands.

First day, traveling from Stockholm to Funäsdalen.

Second day, rain, so we visited Röros Mining Town in Norway.

Third day: Our first hike in the mountains, guldtur 7B Mittåkläppen

Hiking to Mittåkläppen.
An ascent of Mittåkläppen is almost a must! Top ascent
of Mittåkläppen, 1212 meter above sea level is a nice hike
and the view from the top is wonderful.

Fourth day: hike to Guldtur 27, Flatruet

Road 531 between Mittådalen and Ljungdalen, start of the hike is at the highest point at the information sign – Sveriges
högst belägna landsväg! (Sweden’s highest road!)

easy tour in high mountain environment with wonderful views, lakes, rivers and waterfalls

Seventh day: Fjällmuseum and hike to Guldtur 6, Hällmålningarna – Rock paintings
